Welcome to Konsument Europas (ECC Sweden’s)
Guide to Filing a Complaint
Have you purchased something within the EU (Norway and Iceland included) that you are now unhappy with? If that is the case, the Guide to Filing a Complaint can help you when you want to write a complaint to the seller of the goods that you have purchased.
Filing a complaint the right way is important in order to avoid misunderstandings between yourself and the seller.
How to use the Guide to Filing a Complaint
Make your way through the Guide by clicking on the case that is closest to your own. You will end up at a page with letter templates. The letter templates are available in Swedish, English, and German. You can use a letter template in Swedish or German even if you do not fully master the language, since all letters contain the same information that the English version does. Complete the letter by entering the information that pertains to your case, and send it to the seller.
Remember to save copies of all written communications between yourself and the seller along with other documents (copies of orders, confirmations, contracts, and receipts from purchase) in order to have good documentations for your case.
